Mackenzie is currently seeking out a Master of Science in Sport Studies at Tulane University where she is also a Creative Content Graduate Assistant for Tulane Athletics. Before Tulane, Mackenzie graduated from Shippensburg University where she played collegiate soccer for the entirety of her undergrad. Mackenzie graduated with Magna Cum Laude with a B.A. in Communication/ Journalism and a minor in Human Communication Studies. During her four years at Shippensburg, Mackenzie played a huge role in student media serving as the sports director, anchor and sideline reporter. Since graduation, Mackenzie has been striding to become a professional sports broadcaster. Mackenzie’s personality, hustle and heart is truly what sets her apart. Mackenzie excels at telling the human side of sports. She grew up in the suburbs of Philadelphia and is the epitome of a Philly sports fan. Her childhood consisted of traveling from one practice to another all while listening to Sports Radio 94 WIP on the way. The biggest thing that stood out to Mackenzie in her auditory experience was the absence of a female voice. Mackenzie is destined to use her talent to change that aspect of the sports entertainment industry. Nonetheless, Mackenzie identified herself through sports from the start and has dedicated her career to that identity. Outside of sports, Mackenzie's hobbies include photography, videography, yoga, content creation and fashion. One day, you will turn on your television and see Mackenzie conducting a post-game interview. Her love for sports, human interaction and the desire to fill her dreams will make sure of it.
